ABOUT JENNIFER

​Jennifer has been in the mental health field for over 15 years. She began her career as an Addictions Counselor in 1998 and went on to earn a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University in 2005. Since then she has held both ​clinical and administrative positions in outpatient behavioral health clinics around the country working with diverse client populations. Jennifer had been on staff at Yale University School of Medicine, Dept of Psychiatry as a Psychiatric Social Worker before relocating to Arizona in 2011. ​

Jennifer has extensive experience working with people struggling with addictions, trauma histories, depression, anxiety, grief, loss and dysfunctional relationship patterns. She also specializes in infertility, recurrent miscarriage, and reproductive trauma. Her style is one of compassion, respect, and warmth. She utilizes complimentary therapy approaches and techniques drawn from insight oriented therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, systems theory and trauma and empowerment models.



 



​Before moving to Massachusetts in 2015, Jennifer lived and worked in Scottsdale, Arizona for several years where she was in private practice.

On a personal note: Jennifer was born and raised on Long Island, New York. She lives with her husband and son in the Amherst area. Jennifer enjoys hiking, spending time at arboretums and botanical gardens, having coffee with friends, and traveling.
